Hi,

I read somewhere on this forum (can't find the post at the moment) that flares aren't allowed during the VFAT display.
Is this true?
Because our DFDT demos have several points where we use them.

Flares are allowed, but please do not use chaff. If you use the button to dispense both chaff AND flares, please re-assign it to just flares.

Flares work fine....just dont use chaff because it will play a sonic boom.

Yesterday evening, we were training with the Breilting Jet Team, and rather than the flares I was about to launch, I did a mistake chaff lauch, and we all fear for our life at that moment, but no one able to understand why! :mrgreen:
