3D gaming is not new, though never really worked very well.

With the formation flying we do, we miss the real world 3D perception. Will 3D gaming make their advances in 2010?

I personally can't wait for this technology to fully grow up. I think it will be another step closer to reality after Track IR Cheesy

To get an idea of the effect:

The most interesting thing about this, is that it keeps natural eyes and head movements instead of TrackIr and it's "move head, look straight". Now it's big challenge for coders and programmers to write applications that will let us to use it in LockOn and other games. Other problem is that it didn't let you to look behind, above, below, at 9 and 3 o'clock using only head movements. You still have to use some input device (hat on the joystick, mouse) if you want to pan a view.

This was more of an example of what 3D can do with your screen.

There are other methods: http://www.nvidia.com/object/3D_Vision_Main.html
With this Track IR (should) work just fine.
