Title: VFAT 2015 Registration
Post by: VBARhino on September 14, 2015, 08:43:36 pm
VFAT 2015 PRELIMINARY REGISTRATION THREAD

(The VFAT 2015 Preliminary Registration Thread will be closed November, 7th)

In this thread, teams and solo pilots can sign up for participation at VFAT. The 11th Virtual Festival of Aerobatic Teams will take place the December 11th-13th, 2015 (Note this is a different weekend than last year!).

VFAT 2015 Participation Requirements
From the time of registration until November 22nd, participants signed up for VFAT will go through the "Airshow Quality Control".  Airshow Quality Control is based on two elements. First, we have the VFAT ACE-Standards which is basically a guide for participants with a set of rules. Second, we have the "Entertainment Level" of the show. Both the ACE-Standards and the Entertainment Level will be judged by the VFAT Staff to decide which participants pass the Airshow Quality Control.

There are three ways to go through the Airshow Quality Control:
1: A live show on a private streaming channel.
2: A stream replay from a previous demonstration at VFAT or other event. (Preferred)
3: A track, though this will reduce the chance of an approval (we will only be able make a judgement by the ACE Standards, not the Entertainment level as we can not judge camera work/music/comms etc.).

VFAT 2015 Registration Form
To signup for VFAT, please post the following information:
(By signing up for VFAT, the participant accepts the fact the display can be rejected by the VFAT Staff, either by not passing the Airshow Quality Control or by not living up to any other requirement (like deadline dates) set by the VFAT Staff.)

The virtual demo is back for a 7th appearance at VFAT, keeping the spirit of the ACC demo teams alive in the virtual world. I aim to faithfully replicate the precision, intensity and excitement of the real Viper East demo team, while demonstrating the capabilities of U.S. Air Force aircraft. Proven in combat and peacetime, the F/A-18 is well-regarded by pilots and maintainers alike. The Hornet is known for its high degree of maneuverability and excellent low speed handling, lending itself well to the airshow environment. This virtual demonstration will highlight the capabilities of the Hornet in a realistic, fast-paced show. We're turning up the heat once again with a completely original F/A-18C Hornet in DCS World, featuring a complete External Flight Model with real time Flight Control System written using NASA documentation. This is a demonstration you will not want to miss!

See you at VFAT!

Chris "STRIKER" Curtis will be taking to the virtual skies in the Flying Heritage Collection's fighter's MiG-29UB. The two-seat version of the fighter held the pupil in front and the instructor behind. The MiG-29UB first flew in 1981. This aircraft served with the Ukrainian Air Force. After the break-up of the Soviet Union, Ukraine became the world's second-largest MiG-29 operator, retaining over 200 of the type. The fighter was acquired and shipped to the U.S. in 2008. In Arlington, Washington, the MiG underwent an extensive restoration to flying status ending in 2009. The fighter is one of only a small handful of privately-owned MiG-29s in the world today.  This demonstration will uniquely feature the low level and full on afterburning capability of this Russian aircraft.  So get those cameras ready and hold on to your hat as STRIKER and the Mig-29UB come to VFAT 2015!

The Virtual Aerobatic Group is proud to present the RNLAF Apache  & F16 Combi Display !

The Virtual RNLAF F16 Solo Display Team started it's life in 2008. The team's pilots performed the display successfull on VFAT through the years.
The team demonstrates the power, speed and agility of the F-16 Fighting Falcon.
Therefore, the show will include maneuvers that could be used during every operational mission of the F-16.
The special thing about the show is that the maneuvers will follow each other in a rapid pace and will fluently transfer into each other.
During the display, the F-16 will be equipped with two ‘smoke generators’ to accentuate the flight path.

The Virtual RNLAF Apache Demo Team started it’s life in 2011 with the creation of the Apache mod created by the VAG members themselves.
The Royal Netherlands Air Force is the first Air Force worldwide that performs demonstrations with the Apache Helicopter.
Apache demonstrations are normally only performed by the manufacturer of the helicopter (Boeing).
The demo is based on the real life RNLAF Apache demo demonstrated by Maj. Roland ‘’Wally’’ Blankenspoor and Cpt Harm “Kaas” Cazemier.
The demo consists of various maneuvers like the loop and the split-s.
The  Virtual Apache demo team hopes to thrill the virtual worlds with it’s daring and stunning demo.

In this combined display the Apache & F16 will start with a formation flyby.

Enjoy !

Now in our 11th year of operation, The Virtual Blue Angels are a group of enthusiastic flight simulation pilots who strive to be the best of the best among the flight sim community. We aim to emulate the pride, professionalism, and dedication of the real US Navy Blue Angels through our screenshots, videos, and live shows. Formed in January 2004, our present demonstration is the result of countless hours of practice and dedication. With constant aid from Blue Angels past and present, we recreate the entire Blue Angels demonstration in unsurpassed, minute detail. Don't miss this incredibly realistic and fast-paced demonstration showcasing the tight formation flying of the diamond, the impossible timing of the solos, and the grace of the famous Blue Angel delta. This year, we will display in DCS World 1.5 with our in-house aircraft as the first team to practice and perform entirely using this new version of DCS.

The majority of the show will be comprised of fast-paced, tightly flown maneuvers where Hawk will vary between slot and the right wing. For now, the show routine is a surprise and will serve somewhat as a substitute for Limitless's absence from the show.
