Disclaimer: Due to technical difficulties on this forum, registrations for VFAT 2016 will be submitted via email and you will receive a confirmation of submission within 24 hours. If you are a regular participant on VFAT, you may not receive any notification about airshow quality control and will be approved right away. Only the teams that will be reviewed for airshow quality control will be contacted.

(The VFAT 2016 Preliminary Registrations will be closed October, 23rd)

In this thread, teams and solo pilots can sign up for participation at VFAT. The 12th Virtual Festival of Aerobatic Teams will take place November 11th-13th, 2016 (Note this is a different weekend than last year!).

VFAT 2016 Participation Requirements
From the time of registration until October 23rd, participants signed up for VFAT will go through the "Airshow Quality Control".  Airshow Quality Control is based on two elements. First, we have the VFAT ACE-Standards which is basically a guide for participants with a set of rules. Second, we have the "Entertainment Level" of the show. Both the ACE-Standards and the Entertainment Level will be judged by the VFAT Staff to decide which participants pass the Airshow Quality Control.

There are two options to go through the Airshow Quality Control:
A live show on a private streaming channel.
  • A live show on a private streaming channel.
  • A stream replay from a previous demonstration at VFAT, other virtual airshow events or training sortie(preferred).

VFAT 2016 Registration Form
To signup for VFAT, please post the following information:

For the first time in our history, The Virtual Horsemen performed in the F-86F Sabre. Faithfully replicating The Bremont Horsemen's routine flown at Nellis Air Force Base in 2012, we trained hard for 7 weeks to ensure that we flew as accurately as possible. For this routine, Pete 'Pman' Collins took the lead, Rob 'Rock' Brindley flew on Right wing and James 'Kestrel' Read flew on the left wing. We would like to extend our thanks for Wijndel 'Wine' Albertsma for being our camera operator for the event and Chris 'STRIKER' Curtiss for narrating our display. We would also like to thank the real Bremont Horsemen Flight Team for their continued support since we founded the team back in late 2008.

We look forward to seeing you all at the Virtual-Aerobatics.Com show in February.
