Well, it's not a sim used here at VFAT and it probably never will, but I'd like to share some of my work.

I was really looking forward to a simulator better than FSX...but it seems like they took Microsoft Flight Simulator and took Simulator out of it  Embarrassed

Well, is it just me or is the flight model not bad at all, at the max realism settings?
Okay, it's not A2A for FSX quality, but at least it's better than the stock FSX models.

Look at how the Stearman behaves! The hammerhead, the low pass with max rudder from left to right.
And at 2:11 the icon A5, on the parking with a lot of wind, you can see the aircraft rolling as i move the stick.

And when changing weather during flight, you really feel the difference.

I don't actually mind Flight after testing it for several hours in SP and MP.
I was expecting better graphics than FSX though and the FM was ok, but I've flown better in sims.

And loops in the A5 are fun Wink

Great video as always Slam

Downloaded, installed and uninstalled within 30 minutes.  Roll Eyes

One really has to wonder who the intended audience are. Those that are interested in flight and simulating it like the depth of Flight Simulator. Those who aren't really interested in planes or flying are probably not going to want to even install it let alone pay to do anything useful in it. One has to think what kind of paint thinner the guys at Microsoft were sniffing at the time.

I mean £9.99 for a Maule M-7-260C update. They are taking the mick. I'de rather fly MSFS98 that this MSFlight rubbish. Very disappointed.

Hopefully microsoft will take a good long look at their sales figures and finally get to work on a proper predecessor to FSX.
