Okay so my joystick has died and its now time to ask the good old question, As a person that looks to fly alot of formation etc what would be the best reasonably priced Joystick/HOTAS to buy? now I do not have an endless budget so the £30000 joystick with all the bells and whistles and a cup holder does not really help me at all. I'm looking for something reasonably priced that will do the job well and not have the rudder break on it which has happened on both of my previous joysticks and the one I currently have.

Thanks in advance  Grin

X-52. Cheap (about £80). Had mine for 4 years and it's still going strong.

Probably a stupid question but what is the difference between the Pro and the regular -52?

After having a look and read of some reviews it appears that it is just the Small LCD (that is only used in FSX?) built in and the programmable LED Lights?

The 52 Pro is black  Grin... I've heard that the spring is stiffer on the Pro.

Yeh, Spring is stiffer in the pro but there really isn't a big difference between the two. If you can afford the Pro, go for it but if not, the standard X-52 will serve you well anyway Smiley

The X-52 is the way to go, but I prefer the Thrustmaster T16000m. I use the X-52 Throttle with my Thrustmaster. Wink

Looking forward in flying with you again Chap.

The T.16000M and HW share similar internal components, but at the fraction of the cost... it's a solid budget joystick!
