Hey guys,

So I had a pretty relax week with nothing much to do so I made a small video about us for VFAT. It is meant to be a promotion to let you see us in action, these come from our latest practices. Be warned, this thing rocks hard!  Cool

Hope you enjoy it!

Yes sir we do, When we land you will be seeing standard Carrier Landing, meaning Carrier calls, flight path, etc... And thank you! Looking froward to seeing you there as well!

We asked some VFAT staff members if we would be allowed to fly by the shore of Razdolnoye. And it did not seem to bother anyone. We want to bring a unique airshow.

I have told you that there should be no issues with this airshow but this is not an official statement of the complete VFAT Staff.
As you can read in the VFAT ACE-Standards the airshows should be flown in the alloted airspace around the Razdolnoye airbase.
The carrier is clearly not in this airspace and with the decision VX-4 took to fly outside the alloted airspace, there is the risk of being refused at VFAT. The VFAT Staff can still decide to refuse this airshow since there was no official request for flying outside of the alloted airspace in the registration thread.
This issue was not discussed by the VFAT Staff yet due to the full agenda so lets close this discussion untill the VFAT Staff brings out an official statement privately to the VX-4 contact person.
My excuses for the inconvenience.

According to the VFAT ACE-Standards, we have a restricted airspace of 10km around show center (tower) and the show center for us is the Carrier. Aren't we allowed to fly our own Mission? If so, why wouldn't we be allowed to fly around our carrier?

The event is to take place at Razdolnoye airbase, however, due to the fact that this wasn't conveyed clearly in any information about VFAT, staff has made the decision to allow a few exceptions this year and those teams affected will be notified shortly, so no worries. Wink

For any team/solo who hasn't been in contact with staff already, you are expected to perform at the official show site still.
