Simulator:
Lock On Flaming Cliffs 1.12a/b

Team name:
Double Dutch Display Team

Number of aircraft and type:
2x NF-5A

Contact person+email:
Dutchman
rever_2[at]hotmail.com

Country and time zone:
The Netherlands, GMT+1

Information about the team:
1988, 314sqn Eindhoven
In preparation for the 75th anniversary of the Dutch Air Force in 1988 was an idea of a synchro team of two NF-5A’s(Double Dutch). The painting was inspired by the F-16 demo colors.
The usual wing tanks were replaced by sidewinder rails, with one “smokeswinder” mounted on one of the rails.
Double Dutch stopped at the end of 1988, because of a discussion about two crashes earlier that year (Ramstein & Klein Brogel).
Now we are back…. But virtual! Make sure you be there!

The patrouille Suisse Virtuelle

Number of aircraft and type:
6 x F-5 Tiger II

Contact person + email:
Manu, #5
manu@patrouille-suisse.net

Country and Timezone (+/-GMT):
Switzerland, GMT+1

About the Team:
The Patrouille Suisse Virtuelle was born in 2004, like in the history of aviation, with a propeller plane.
The PSV had chosen, during its creation, a plane having existed in the Swiss military aviation and allowing acrobatic formation flights:
The Mustang P51 A is based on IL2 simulator. The propeller time was like the aviation history followed by the jet time.

It is thus quite naturally that the PSV Team called "the Tigers" was born in 2006 and used the Soviet jet SU-27 until 2008.
The aircraft was replaced in early 2009 by the F-5 Tiger II to reflect the real display team.

By its public and on the Internet representations , the PSV shows the quality and dedication of its pilots, trying to be as realistic as possible.
To get the virtual world more popular, the promotion and the serious of the PSV is it's priority.

USAF Virtual Heritage Flight

Number of Aircraft and Type:
1 x F-86 Sabre, 1 x F-4E Phantom II, 1 x F-15C Eagle, 1 x F-22A Raptor

Contact person + email:
Rhino
westernate@gmail.com

Country and Timezone (+/-GMT):
USA Central (GMT -6)

About the Team
In 1997, the leaders of Air Combat Command assembled a select group of retired military and civilian pilots to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the United States Air Force.  From this gathering was born the Heritage Flight, a unique visual representation of the air force’s history from the days of the army air corps to the present.

What started out as a one time event has grown in popularity and demand, and now Heritage Flights are performed at air shows and special events in the United States and around the world.

With last year's introduction to the VFAT audience, the Virtual Heritage Flight returns this year, adding the state of the art F-22A Raptor; the worlds first and only 5th generation fighter.  This year you will see a historical progression, from the days of the Korean War with the F-86 Sabre, to the jungles of Vietnam with the F-4E Phantom II, to the skies over Baghdad and Kosovo with the F-15C Eagle, to the present day air superiority fighter, the F-22A Raptor.

Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1.12a/b

Team name:
Frecce Tricolori Virtuali - Pattuglia Acrobatica Nazionale Virtuale
Website
Forum

Number of aircraft and type:
8x Aermacchi MB-339 PAN

Contact person + email:
Luca Sodano

Country and Timezone:
Italy - GMT+1

Information about the team:
The 313° Gruppo Frecce Tricolori Virtuali is actually the virtual group that represents and simulates the equivalent of the famous Italian Military Air Force aerobatic team.
Born in April 2003, the 313° Gruppo F.T.V. aims to develop friendship and passion among the internet flight enthusiasts and those who esteem the real team and its famous aerobatic airshow with the synchronized formation flight and the precise soloist manoeuvres, using 10 Aermacchi MB339A PAN.

The team started to operate on MS Flight Simulator 2004, helping to develop (and then using) a new plugin software called Ibnet to improve the online "close" flight simulation on MS FS, and attended to real events such as The Italian Flight Simulator Show Contest 2005 and 2006 in Milan, Extreme Air Show in Fano, Flight Simulator Show in Forlì.
On December 2007 the team decided to approach Lock On in order to join the community with the aim to perform the famous Frecce Tricolori team display on VFAT 2008. Unfortunately the only flyable Lock On aircraft that suits the MB339A flight speeds parameters is the A-10, this meaning that all pilots had to come to the compromise to fly with an aircraft about 7 Tons heavier than the real Aermacchi MB339A.

Our Team practices on average twice per week on Lock On Flaming Cliffs, with 8 effective members and some new pilots in training.
The real team is divided into 2 sections (5 aircrafts in the first section, leaded by PONY1 and 4 aircrafts in the second section, leaded by PONY6) and a solo (PONY10).
In the VFAT 2008 we performed a display with 7 planes, but for this year we'll fly with 8 planes: 3 in the first section, 4 in the second and the solo.

We hope you will enjoy our show.

On behalf of Patrouille Virevolte, we will present you The Virtual Blues Brothers (Official  Grin)  performing the Bravo Show

Patrouille Virevolte

Number of aircraft and type:
2 Dassault Mirage F1C

Contact person + email:
Airone
e.renaudin(at)hotmail.com

Country and Timezone (+/-GMT):
France, GMT+1

About the Team:

Patrouille Virevolte performed every year outstanding airshow based on accurate aerobatics flying, and this also on real meeting. This year is critical, we traded our Breitling L39 to move the team on our beloved french Alphajet, and we are still training on the demanding machine.  Wink Hence, we are not all fully qualify to deliver our best, and since it is a tradition to deliver increasing qualities airshows, we will send to the VFAT our Bravo Team, our representative for this transition year.

The pilots, Icemaker, the boss, Midair, slot and me as a coach/spare, will present this original version of a flight so tight that we are considered brothers. So let us do that in music for you, as the Blue Brothers did... Grin

The rocking Mirage F1 will make you feel as your are sitting on a sunny day, looking over the sky and trembling with the Atar 9K50 vibrations!!! You, Me, EVERYBODY!  Cheesy

Enjoy!
